November 4, 1998 - Wulfen
Time: 1800 to 1830 hrs Wednesday November 4th.
Location: Toronto Co$ Org (also the Canadian national Scientology HQ)
SP's: Wulfen and Artemis.
Sign: Only one, Wulfen's - "WWW.XENU.NET" on one side and "$cientology Costs A Mint" on the other side (thanks again, Jour0).
Leaflets: About 15 of Gregg's Xenu/Crimes leaflet, about the same number of my $CAM/Human Cost leaflet (get mine at http://www.total.net/~wulfen/scn/ ).
Body Routers: Mario, the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation Missionholder (yah, we got bodyrouted by the man himself. How about that?)
Comments:
This picket was dedicated to wgert (a Scientologist), specifically his actions in publishing my name and other personal details to this forum. Artemis and me realized that if we see anything on ARS or in EFNET #scientology (the IRC channel) that irritates us, we can be in front of the Toronto Org with 20 minutes notice. Pretty good, eh? Looks like we may be back tomorrow.
Mario body routed by shouting "Prozac and electroshock! These people stand for prozac and electroshock!" Umm... Not a good way to boost your public image, Mario.
Mario told a passer-by that we were saying that Scientology was banned in France. No.. we never said that. We have said that Scientology is banned in Greece, criminally convicted in Canada, under investigation by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution in Germany, had its president jump bail in Spain, has been briefly banned in certain Australian states, harrasses critics (grr, wgert), and is, um, less than totally honest about its own beliefs and its founder's history, but we have never said that Scientology is banned in France. The only thing that I tell people at pickets about Scientology and France is about how L. Ron Hubbard was convicted of fraud (in absentia, like Carlos the Jackal) in France.
Mario was saying that we get paid time and a half for a Wednesday picket. To Mario: Yes, we do get time and a half of our Saturday pay rate. We also get a percentage bonus of a day's pay based on how many flyers we give out. Not bad, eh?
The weather was cold, but the SP's were warm. Why? I had on a full-body set of long underwear. I highly recommend it for winter pickets. By the end, I was getting positively hot under all that insulation.
See you later, cult.
