April 18, 1998 - Gregg HagglundWell I have to say that the other members of the Picket have done a fine job of describing the day so I won't go into too much detail. However I would like to summarise the events, numbers and developments. I would like to say that we don't care what the Rules for public demonstrations are, as they are Rules that we will follow even if changed on the fly. However, I will not surrender my right to organise and/or Picket Peacefully as often as I damn well please to the whim of any Official, no matter how that Official is mislead or lied to by the Co$. I simply can not be intimidated in this manner because I refuse to get flustered. I will stand by my rights and call for a superior official who has access to the pertinent law and my lawyers phone number and I will use the law to win. Everytime. In short, today we were at total cause again over the dwindling Toronto Org. Despite Co$ attempts to either manipulate the situation or provoke an incident on camera they failed miserably to stop a highly successful and peacefully conducted information demonstration. We ran out of flyers, hawking most of them under my constant cry of: "Criminal Conviction of Scientology in Canada! Banned In Greece! Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Galactic Overlord Hidden by Scientology!" etc. [I had a ball!] As mentioned we were visited by Lord Xenu who was giving out OT3, verbatim! I did hear more than one passerby ask Org staff if the OT3 on Lord Xenu's flyer was part of Scientology and the staff denied this publicly. ( So I guess it is perfectly alright to hand the OT3 verbatim out, publicly, at the Org as how can one violate Co$ Copyrights as claimed by Co$ Legal Weasels when the Co$ itself publicly denies the OT3 is part of Co$ teachings?) I admit there were some communication problems with the local Police. Problems exacerbated by Co$ misinformation and mischief. Once the misinformation and mischievious conduct was understood by the local on site Constabulary the Co$ lost all sympathy from them and alienated them as much as one can these impartial enforcers of the WogLaws of Toronto and Canada. Our communcations problem was dealt with, on-site, in short order and never really disrupted the Picket to any extent. I have today (Monday April 20th) successfully liased with the MTPD and sorted several bureaucratic snafus out and have assured the past accord and cooperation of the MTPD will continue in the future. Yes, it is true, my very presence over Toronto Org. Even if I stop on the sidew of the Org. and drink a Starbucks coffee their literature and watching their hilarious video, I can cause absolute panic amongst the staff. A mere Wog, armed with only the Truth on a Yellow Flyer and a good mocca java! What a pathetic organisation the Toronto Org is. A few will need help when it finally collapses. And I will be there with compassionate aid if it is wanted. It will be the charitable thing to do. Picket Summary: On a happily sunshiny day the dying Toronto Org was once more caught off guard by a Demonstration started at 10 am. The Picket ran from 10 am to 5 pm with a one hour lunch break in the afternoon. Picket was attended by: Gregg Hagglund, Artemis, Deep Wog, Witling, Wulfen and //\ndroid Cat. Also attending but just in the morning and seperately: Lord Xenu and his Press Secretary. For the Co$: 3 Off and on BRs, 3 OSA provacateurs and a videographer. For the Government: One Immigration Officer in civvies observing for the AM from across the street. [Note: the Flag RoadShow FSMs made no appearance thanks, apparently, to Immigration Canada requiring foreign nationals to have a work permit when trying to earn income from commission sales in Canada.] Flyer count:
Incidents: Wog Law re-interpretation of Demonstration Rules adapted to by Critics. CO$ Provocateurs harrass passersby, block sidewalk and get into shouting match with a citizen who makes threats at the Org. ( Which were promptly and vocally denounced by the Picketers) Co$ Provocateur shadows Picket Organiser Gregg Hagglund, for an hour, repeatedly intervening to stop handout of flyers and trying to create an incident while being closely videographed. Police called by both Gregg H and Buttnor. Police officer tricked by Co$ into overreacting to Picket, (later to realize this and becomes most embarassed). Definition of Co$ Property line disputed. 52 Division forced to acknowledge constant Police Presence neccessary to ensure Picketer's Civil Rights and keep public order in face of Co$ Provocative tactics aimed at the public during the Picket. Co$ provocations and activity collapse in presence of police Co$ closes org at 6:pm. [On a Saturday yet!] WOG LAW RULES!
