Today, I was awakened by a knock at the door. Seems that Mrs. Rachel Scarff (who does not exist) called in a repair order claiming my telephone was out of order and required urgent repair. I later spoke with a Security official with Pac-Bell who has made a report on this, and the recent incidents of fraud committed against Pac-Bell, and informed from now on when ANYONE calls in concerning my account the number will be accessed through Caller ID, I will be contacted concerning the call, and charges will be levied against the prankster. I informed the telephone company I will press criminal charges against the prankster.

Upon leaving my apartment today, I found my two back tires flattened. Took my car to a nearby Mobil and learned that the tires had nails driven into them. I filed a report with the LA County Sheriffs Office. [snip]
