It appears from the number of ))) that the original post (which was also emailed to Alethea Greenberg) was forwarded at least 3 times before the person named "Webmaster" was dispatched to do battle with me.

I believe what upset the Scns was two things:

1) On every post about the Scn websites, I have been copying Alethea Greenberg (on-line@scientology.net). I figured she'd want to know what I was learning. But I also suspect they were getting irritated that I was (a) finding their web sites (and there aren't that many) and (b) that the search engines are not finding their web sites.

2) Every web site that I found was given a number. I would go to the contact.htm page, fill it out with my real name, address and telephone number, and indicate which number page it was. I would also add some editorial comment about how this was spam, as well as a bit about how I doubted that the keepers of the web site that was filtering the submission forms would not let the owners of the web sites see the forms. I believe that none of my forms were sent to *any* Scientologist, but were instead held up at www.scientology.org. (shrug) Whatever.[snip]
