Clearwater 98 Picket largest Ever!

Scientologists all endure personal sacrifice and slave like working conditions in order to get across L Ron Hubbards bridge of lies to attain super duper mental powers. Rumors inside the paranoid organization when I was involved were that OT's [ what they called folks who attained the highest levels of "Operating Thetan" ] could even 'kill with a thought' by the power of their 'intention beams' - this is the sort of folklore that keeps these young kids in line... working slavishly until enough years have passed that they give up hope... or, perhaps, as in Lisa McPherson, are killed.

My own personal slogan went something like this:

No OTs Here!

If There WERE we wouldn't BE HERE!!

All you have are lawyers...

To silence anyone who notices!

And dares try to tell you!!

Scientology showed it's true colors. Taping up the windows through the second floor with paper.. Even covered the windows of the insides of their vans which they were using to keep their staff from walking the streets and seeking our picket signs. Even rerouting its vehicles to minimize the risk of awakening the entranced adherents...

One picketer actually heard the driver of a van yell, "Eyes Straight Ahead, Don't look at the signs"

My sign read simply

"What program are you running?"
