The "Rendez vous" was in the corner of Götgatan/Ringvägen in sunny Stockholm which is pretty close to the sleepy Stockholm org. It was only two picketers, myself and another critic Lennart. I had prepared myself with 150 copies of the Xenu leaflet once again thanks to the printers at Linköpings University. Lennart had made a few big yellow posters. The corner we choosed is pretty crowded with a few big shopping mallsjust nearby. We started distributing the leaflets on different sides of the street, the public reaction was friendy as usual. Within minutes this little old lady appeared with a bunch of pro scientology flyers starting to distribute as well. After a moment I spotted this guy taking pictures of me repetedly in the crowd. There was no doubt that he was a scieno because when he saw that I had spotted him he came a lot closer to me, still taking pictures. At this time my mobile rang. It was one of my "teachers" from my earlier pickets who called asking how thing were going, I thought that was prettty sweet :) A third scieno (sea org dressed) apperad, this guy was trying to usual scieno tactics trying to stand in my way all the time asking a whole bunch of stupid questions: I just had to give him all the right answers, for example: -Why are you doing this? -Because it´s a pretty well paied job! -Who organizes these pickets? -ARSCC! -How long are you gonna stay? -Until we run out of leaflets! and so on..... The camera guy who started to speak to me in very bad Swedish and later on in English asked all these "Who brainwashed you", "did Åke send you here" kind of questions. At last I told him that I didn´t have time nor the interest to answer all his questions and asked him if he could step back, he then told me that I could ignore his questions if I wanted which was exactly what I did. The he acused me of not beeing "open" to the conversation he was trying to make, clever! The Sea org styled person (named Ken) came towards me distributing leaflets to everyone he came across, I asked him why he didn´t mention what kind of information he was distributing, was he afraid of the reaction?? He took it pretty well and started to say: "This is pro scientology" the reaction from the public was not what he had waited (I think) and since noone was taking or dropping it his fliers he pretty fast gave up the "pro scientology" information. :)) Within two hours Lennart and I was out of leaflets and we split up. As I left I saw this trashcan full of Scientology leaflets, I could not resist to take a photo of it, it looks like the trashlady from Copenhagen needs to visit the Stockholm org as well *s*
