We picketed the Mesa Mi$$ion from 9:00 to 10:00 AM today.

Kathy and I haven't picketed for a month due to vacations, monsoon storms
and other factors.  But today was very good weather by Phoenix summer
standards:  90 degrees, 30 percent humidity and cloud cover.

There were 2 cars in the parking lot when we arrived and two more
joined them (one person each) during the picket.  This is less than
the average of 7 cars that are usually at the site.  But it  _is_ summer,
when half of Phoenix moves to San Diego.

There were no handlers.

The passing traffic was _unusually_ supportive, many more honks
and "thumbs up" than usual - maybe they missed us?
One driver advised us to "drink beer" which inspired this
adaptation of an Ogden Nash couplet:

  "Malt does more than Hubbard did
   to help us look into the Id."

The original was

 "Malt does more than Milton can
  to justify God's ways to Man"

  Moral: Don't hold those cans unless there is beer in them!
