My two cents:

The picket was great fun although there was a very serious side to it
of course.  No one forgot why we were there, I am glad to say.  There
were moments of great sadness especially seeing Lisa and Noah's family
there.  I was incredibly moved by these people.  They are so strong
and yet so wounded.  I cry just thinking of them and thank *God* (or
whatever) that my loved one is safe and healthy.  It could just as
easily have been him (or me, or you, or anyone) who died for the Co$.
We all have a lot to be thankful for.

That being said, each and every speaker was candid and their
statements were so *real*, so heartfelt and moving.  They were and are
true experts.

The comraderie was mind boggling to see.  All these people from all
over the country and the world here in unity, differences aside and
cooperating.  If there is such a thing as an OT, I met a bunch of
them.  They were resourceful, creative and full of vitality.
Unstoppable, and the Co$ knows it now.  My hat is off to every one of
them as well as those who stayed at home to support all of us who were
able to be there.

I spoke with a few Scientologists and two of them responded to me.  I
even bought a sandwich for one young kid (about 16 0r 17) who stood in
one spot at the Fort Homicide the whole day.  He did not take it but
it was there for him.  My thinking was, "If that was my kid, I'd want
someone to give him a bit to eat".  They are all so skinny and pale.  

In summation, the experience was like no other and I'll be back next
year.

Oh, BTW, Scientology, I love Florida and will no doubt be moving there
in the not to distant future.  You will have to deal with me on a
regular basis.  I will be like a mosquito that will not die.  Be
prepared cuz I am a pain in the ass as the Seattle Org will no doubt
verify.
