Picketing is something you folks who just read must *do* to believe, at least once. Trust me in this. I give several vignettes as my offering to the newsgroup I've enjoyed so long without contributing. I was met at the airport by two charming gentlemen who escorted me to the hotel. After a bite to eat, I scurried with the next busload to downtown XenuCity. At first, I was standing on the southwest corner across from FH, with Arnie Lerma, who was busily wearing out poor Croc across the street with "No OT's in there...just a dwarf." Then DonNOTs moved over next to Croc in the legal territories, and they began a back-and-forth with each other each booming across the street echoing all around....sounded like this: Don: "HEY YOU! ARNIE! ARE THERE ANY OT'S OVER THERE?" Arnie: "NO OT'S HERE! JUST A DWARF. HEY DON! ANY OT'S OVER ON THAT SIDE?" Don: "NO!!! NO OT'S HERE! JUST A CROCK!" Elrond1 will have a great story to tell here, if he will, too. Other general impressions: The Church lost solidly on all fronts. Their transportation system was effectively buckled to its knees. Their sidewalk tech not only didn't work, but spread us out where even more people saw us, and much more so because they had heard about the dot tech in the media. Their UHaul tech didn't work. (I have to leave that one for someone else.) Their 'Stay Away From Our Sacred Property' tech was shattered by one ingenious and creative SP as you've heard described by Bruce. I saw absolutely no handlers out, and one RPF guy, and one video jockey (Croc), who only spoke to the police. They even refused to comment to the media until this week, after we've all gone.
