They got bricked alright. I posted to this newsgroup the fact that a
little birdie had told me that the Co$ had got a brick-sized hole in
its window last weekend. I was told by a reliable source on the Monday
night. This is their place at 68 Tottenham Court Road in London, a few
doors down from Goodge Street Underground station. I checked it out this
evening. No hole, but a new shop front. Now they have double doors
rather than a single door, otherwise the look is the same. That must
have cost them. £1000 at the very least. £2000 at a better guess.
I wonder how many shop front replacements they can afford before they
are forced to move out of the area. Someone is "putting ethics in" on
that cult. I don't know if it is a one-off attack by locals or maybe
there will be more of these.
I wonder if the brick went in on the evening or night of L. Ron
Hubbard's birthday. All that "outflow" to get the stats up resulting in
an "inflow".
I would suggest to those clams that they employ a bit of "wog science"
and invest in a hundred or so square metres of perspex.

Hrm, it was L. Ron's b-day very recently, wasn't it.
The Ottawa Org building is sporting one broken pane of glass also, taped with
masking tape. I noticed that when I walked by the place this past Saturday.
Though if it was a brick, it would have taken a good arm, the broken pane is
on the second story.

A visiting critic here pointed out that the big org has protections on
the windows. I had never thought of them as protectors, just
decoration, they have been there since before I was a member.
The little org was/is constantly battling with broken windows.
Planet wide, there are broken windows.
And I --- figured out why!
It is that Now-Hiring hustle. You get people come in thinking they
are getting a real job. they work for a week and get a paycheck under
$10.00. My theory is that they get even, they just get even with the
cult by breaking a window or two.
Org windows were being broken long before the internet ever developed.
