Subject: Picket Report; Quiet in Atlanta on Lisa McPherson Day

I arrived at the usual spot a bit after noon, with 2 handheld signs
(because it was a quite windy day, and the piece of lath I usually
use would have been way too awkward. In my pocket were several
Flyer-Paks(TM), with the story of Lisa Mcpherson included with our
own Pamphlet 56 and the Xenu flyer.
Almost immediately a fellow came up and asked me why I was doing
this. I handed him a 'Pak(TM). He said that he had read Dianetics in
college, and thought it was pretty good. I explained to him how it
was based on Freudian psychology that was considered 'not born out
by experimental evidence' even at the time Hubbard wrote it. I
encouraged him to look on the internet, and search on 'Church
ofScientology' at Alta Vista.
Shortly after he got back in his car and left, the Scientologist
woman who likes to take our pictures came across the street, bearing
a very fancy looking new digital camera. I gave her my sinceres
smile (100 watts on the SP scale), and held my sign so that it would
be hard to get a picture without reading 'Dianetics Scientology Bait
and Switch', though I know they can edit it out in a pc... The sun
was right behind me, so I told her that her picture would never come
out good shooting into the sun. I let her move a round me, and upped
the smile to 120 watts while she snapped another couple of shots.
She made a point of calling me by my real name, which I have never
tried to hide. I guess that was supposed to intimidate me - good
try, poor deluded girl... Then she asked me where Mad_Cow was,
calling him by name. Gee, I guess they really do study the group and
keep records of what they learn!B-)
She also told me they were worried that I was not coming ( I told
wgert on irc last night that I would be there at noon, and said he
should warn his friends at the Atlanta org.Good to know wiggy can
obey orders so well!
I had been picketing about half an hour when I looked up the street
and there was ethercat coming to join the picket! I let her have one
of the signs, and a few Flyer-Paks, and we proceded to blanket the
sidewalk with entheta.
Within 3 minutes, our camera carrying friend was back to get a pic
of the new picketer. I will leave the cat herself to describe the
meeting in her report, since the woman said not word one to me this
time. I guess it must have really freaked them out to see that I had
company again!
We picketed for about an hour more. There was a great deal of car
traffic, and many heads turning to read our signs, but very little
foot traffic. Still, we handed out 5 Flyer-Paks before we ended our
picket. Once again, the culties learned that their magic OT powers
are useless outside the little fantasy world where they live.More
citizens were inoculated against their sad meme.
Over the course of the picket we saw maybe 10 people or so going in
and out the org. At one point there seemed to be a little rush -
several people, two at a time, coming out to have a smoke. Most
walked quickly around the building's corner, where they would be
safe from the evil SPs, but a few stood right there and stared at
us. Twice men came in with small children, and both times the kids
were obviously fascinated with our signs. Lots of 'splainin' to do
in the org today!
All in all, a great little picket. All over the world decent people
are letting the cult know that their falsehoods cannot be covered
up, and their crimes cannot be hidden.

Pickets are the one thing that Scientology hates the most because
they can't lie to their members about it, at least to the ones who
see it.. They can't demonstrate their OT abilities and 'postulate'
people away using Tone 40, which invalidates them. This is a direct
confront to their great powers and is what they hate the most and
all the lies they tell their members is only a picket away from
revealing itself.
