Harassed by the Church of Scientology in Atlanta, Georgia

- Stacy Brooks' sister is revenge picketed, and a flyer which attempts to discredit Stacy is delivered to her mother's mailbox. Note: These people are not even involved in any activity that is related to scientology, they are just related to someone who is.
- April 10, 1999
- Ethercat and wynot are revenge picketed and flyered by Scientologists. Here are wynot's report, ethercat's report and some added comments by ethercat. There were two flyers distributed, one specifically for wynot, which had the word "harasses" removed; and another for ethercat, Mad Cow and wynot. The flyers were left in neighbor's mailboxes, which is against federal law. Picketing a residence is illegal in the City of Atlanta. The police were called, and the scientologists were told to leave. - Neighborhood flyered - with paper airplanes! Here's ethercat's report. In honor of our special guest picketer, Stacy Brooks, there was a new flyer, notably similar to the one given to her mother (however that one included a claim of ownership by the "Free Speech & Religious Freedom Committee of the Parishioners of the Church of Scientology of Georgia"). Ours is transcribed in the report. Littering is also an infraction of the law in the state of Georgia. Incidentally, this particular unusual type of flyering has also happened elsewhere.

- The scientologists at the Scientology Parishioner's Comittee thank ethercat for her suppressive activities with her very own "Religious Bigot" page. The legality of this action is yet to be determined, but is this the way you expect a TAX EXEMPT church to spend their funds?

- About 10 flyers were tacked up on telephone poles around the neighborhood, which is illegal in Atlanta. Here is ethercat's report. Mad Cow had some choice comments after reading about it.
