NOTE: This has been modified from the original post. ======== Newsgroups: alt.religion.scientology Subject: Vegas - Update - Big org - assorted - 10 January 2005 From: Ted Mayett Date: Mon, 10 Jan 2005 01:50:52 -0800 October 2003 I launched into a picture and text story of the big org here in Las Vegas, Nevada. But why? The filth was nothing new, I was looking at filth for years already. Broken cars and long-term parked cars were nothing new, there were in my vehicle counts for years already. The broken down building? Nothing was new to me, I was just keeping it a secret. Well, the goal wasn't the big org at all. I was setting the groundwork for moving the two Missions here. I was thinking at the time that I would move them out of private homes and into commercial rental space. And the big org was only a way to get them focused on me and Vegas again. So I talk this over with my homeboy before I start. What are the possible negatives to doing this picture and text thing, what are the positives. We discuss it all and come up with a solution. New publics, new people that would enter this org for the first time, or maybe even the first few times, would use the front entrance. So, all my pictures, until now, have been only of the back of the org. I had left the front and side of the org alone. Granted, I did web some pictures of the front, but they were closeups, or taken from too far away for the broken building to show. These pictures now webbed of the front and side might seem to some to be anti-climatic. Well to me they are not that at all. For this cheap camera of mine doesn't really photograph well. In person, everything is much worse! And this includes the front and side of the org. SINCE, they have proven repeatedly that they will only fix exactly what we say is broken, and no more than that. I purposely left the front and side alone. And they also left the front and side alone, of course. And today, the Missions are safe, I've lost the passion. And they can fix the org or not, whatever they decide. Meantime... You will note in some of the pictures that same white car from October 2003. They don't move that car, and that is that, and I had stopped mentioning that vehicle in posts. Shortly after I stopped the posts and pictures they went right back to being purely filthy. Although one day, for some reason, they had washed all the windows in the building. Including windows that probably cannot even be opened. And, being a computer genius at times, I have lost my December 2004 pictures that I meant to web, but will close the page/subject off soon with some January 2005 pictures. All the clues and solutions are in my past text reports that are webbed, and I don't feel like looking it up. But the chairs that came along in May 2004. The mystery of the chairs was solved by a post by The Mail Man. It was that post, and my observations of that yellow tent set up on The Strip here, that explained the chairs. It was a Sunday and they had a yellow tent set up in the back of the org, and there was to be an Event that day. Two of the main women of the org were dressed nice, hair done, and make-up. But something went wrong, the event was cancelled. Why the event was cancelled is a pure mystery to me, and I have no clues whatsoever on this cancellation. This all happened 21 March 2004, and it was May 2004 when the chairs appeared in the back of the org. When I first saw them I thought nothing of it, figured they were there for the day and that was all, because they were expensive chairs. Comfortable chairs, quality chairs. And then the weeks passed and the chairs remained??? Well now we know that the chairs were for the yellow tent, and not just any tent, but for that tent on The Strip and Nellis AFB, and wherever else that tent might have set up. More on all this in another post where I try to tie it altogether. That would be Tents and Tables. I'm not even sure how long ago it started, close to a year now I would think. But they took down all the signs in the front of the org. 'Now hiring' 'Sunday services' etc. Everything came down... and nothing went back up! To this very day, this Sunday, yesterday or whatever. They still do not have a 'now hiring' sign and no sign for 'sunday services'. The signs came down because they did a sloppy and short painting project in the front of the org. I had just never posted these details before. In fact as I think about it now, they did this painting project after I had started my pictures text and phone calls campaign. Hmmmmmmmmm. I think they are going to get rid of this building, this big org, and move into something else. This building seems too far gone. It is like if the homeless had to live there, they would still call themselves homeless. Regarding the concrete in the front of the org, and along the side, and the black-top in the parking lot, well... You stand there and you look around, and nowhere else is anything in such bad shape. In fact, I would look as I traveled the city, and nowhere could I find concrete even near as bad as the concrete surrounding that org. It is nasty, and it is dangerous. I've often felt that they are in violation of City laws, but I've never done anything about this as I prefer to not use wogs to get them to do things. But I don't understand how only one spot in entire neighborhood gets away with concrete, and a parking lot, in such terrible shape.
