But still. When the current cult management claims that something like that Boston org or the Vegas org is 'going st. hill size', well the definition must have been changed. We know from a post by Catarina that 'St. Hill Size' is supposed to mean 250 staff members. So, how in the hell can they claim that one of these pathetic and struggling Vegas orgs are 'going st. hill size'? I believe we now have the answer. What will follow are excerpts from a flyer from the big org here in Vegas. This was sent to me by one of the moles I have in place here. A jpg of the entire flyer, it will be a big jpg, is at http://member.newsguy.com/~aavacuum/temp/shs.jpg The key to it is the TTC, Technical Training Corps. This flyer would have been circa August 2000: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY LAS VEGAS FOUNDATION SAINT HILL SIZE NEWSLETTER Hello and welcome to a series of newsletters designed to keep you abreast of the latest changes and future plans to clear the Las Vegas area. The Las Vegas Org has been slated by International Management to go Saint Hill Size this year. what does that mean really? This and future newsletter will tell you. So, pay close attention because you are in for a rocket ride. Recently the American Saint Hill Organization in Los Angeles was announced as attaining the size of old Saint Hill. Just week prior the Tokyo org was announced as achieving the size of Saint Hill. How are the doing this? They started with their Tech compliment. That is they got the needed Technical trained staff hired and put onto the Technical Training Corps as the top priority. they made it a game to get these posts filled. These posts are: 20 Auditors, 5 Staff Staff auditors, Senior Case Supervisor, 2 Tech Case Supervisors, 4 Academy Course Supervisors, 4 Academy Word Clearers, Qualifications Secretary, Intern Supervisor and a Cramming Officer. This totals 40 people. The good news is that we already have 10 of these posts filled and there are 2 more staff members about to finish their basic lineups and start their technical training to fill 2 more of the postings. That leaves 27 posts to fill to complete the full Technical compliment and complete the first step to making it to Saint Hill Size. Now of course it is not possible to just ad 27 new Technical staff members without also adding administrative staff, that would mean our sure overwhelm and we would just loose the gains. No we are also playing this game to fill the vital administrative posts in order to facilitate the technical delivery. -------------------------------------------------------- Now I know the numbers listed do not add up properly, however it is not a typo on my part. There is a sadness to this, this claim of st hill size. But I saw something even sadder than this newsletter. I was driving by the big org one day to count cars and I saw something that made me hit the brakes and just sit there staring. I felt a sadness I cannot seem to express properly, I had an understanding of just how deluded long-time staff members are. A friend of mine almost summed it up by saying, "they are so desperate to belong." I'll be posting a picture to ABS. But there, on the back of the building... but first understand the layout of it all. This big org here, the parking is in the back and reached by a dead-end street. When you drive up this street you are going to park in the org or going to one of the several small businesses located further down that street. Anyway, there on the back wall is a banner that reads: WE ARE GOING SAINT HILL SIZE Nobody sees this, only staff and public, and those few cars that do business further down the street. My guess is that they were supposed to put this banner up in the front of the org where thousands of cars pass each day. But they put it up in the back. They KNOW there is nothing, absolutely nothing about that org that is saint hill size. They know this but they are powerless to do anything about it, they simply do as they are told. But something small that is left, some spark of individuality, something gives them enough ??power?? to put the banner in the back of the building where it is hidden. When I first saw that banner and hit the brakes and *froze* in place, so many many thoughts ran through my head. And my eyes misted and came close to tears from the deep, deep sadness I felt for them.
