Missions and Dianetics Centers

As you have learned, or will learn from the rest of this web site, I was responsible for pushing them out of Mail Boxes Etc. (post office boxes), and into real locations for these Missions and Dianetics Centers. It was my early web work, my camera, and my posts to the newsgroup alt.religion.scientology that made them put these Missions as they are now, in private homes. Now do understand, that the decision to make these new pages was not made lightly. It was my opinion that I had made an error, when I forced them out of post office box Missions And Dianetics Centers.

Up until that time, they were quite happy with their post office box Missions and Dianetic Centers. Scientologists in Amsterdam, London, Sydney, Boston, everywhere, could hear about the fantastic "Unparalleled Expansion" of Scientology in the rich and popular city of Las Vegas. Even here in Las Vegas, they could clap and cheer and get all kinds of happy about the new Missions and Dianetics Centers that were now open. They didn't need a phone line or an answering machine for these locations, and the yearly rent for a Mission was under $100 per year. Quite a good deal.

Why I feel I had made an error is because as long as these Missions were in post office boxes only, they could not recruit people. They were useless, and they could cause nobody any harm. But now they are in private homes, they can hold meetings and whatever, and they can recruit people. One of the private homes even has a small sign on the door saying, Mission and Dianetics Center.

So why am I making a page like this today? I have waited and waited a long time for this, about 4 years. I have waited until they are so small, and so poor, that they could not really afford an actual business location. They don't have the money, and they don't have enough members today to keep real business hours and pay real monthly bills for these businesses. And so, it is my hope that this web page will embarrass them enough to move these Missions and Dianetics Centers into commercial business space. If they do this, it will be a severe drain on their already low resources. If they don't do this, then the world will see the lie (again) that is Scientology.

Here now are two pictures, a picture of each Mission/Dianetics. I have more pictures and more information to release on these things, but now is not the time, not yet, check back around April 2004.
